(No workshop on July 4th)
Showcase: Friday @ 5:30 p.m.
Annie is a spunky orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her as a baby on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Oliver is a lonely orphan boy born in the London Workhouse run by Mr. Bumble and the Widow Corney, the heartless and greedy caretakers. There are many similarities in their stories as they both struggle toward and eventually find happiness and new families!
"Annie & Oliver" is filled with songs and choreography from the beloved musicals “Annie” and “Oliver!” Being a musical mash-up, the students will get to learn selected songs and choreography from both shows, including "Hard Knock Life", "Consider Yourself", "Maybe", and "Where is Love". Come be a part of this fun musical duel between two of our favorite Broadway orphans and their gangs! The students will perform their revue Friday evening of camp week.
